Barbara Dean Davis Crosley, 79 years old, passed away on October 28, 2025, in DeRidder, LA. She was born on June 20, 1946, in Dequincy, Louisiana. Barbara’s life was a testament to love, resilience, and dedication.
Barbara was a loving mother, sister, and friend. Barbara's family was her greatest joy, and she poured her heart into every moment spent with them. Her compassion and warmth will forever remain in the hearts of those who had the privilege of knowing her. Throughout her life, Barbara demonstrated unwavering faith in the Lord, which guided her through life’s challenges. She was known for her love of cooking, often bringing everyone together around the dinner table to share in her delicious meals. She retired from the Beauregard Parish school system as a custodian for over 20 years. Her passion for life was also evident in her devotion to the New Orleans Saints football team, whose games she eagerly followed, cheering them on with enthusiasm.
She is survived by her loving spouse of 50years Ivory Crosley Jr., her children, Carl Davis, Ronando Crosley, Antonio Crosley, Robert Davis, and Byron Crosley, and survived by 28 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Barbara was preceded in death by her mother, Lola Davis, and siblings, Harold Cooper, Addie Lou Hines, Floyd Davis, Mary Hazel Seastrunk
Funeral services will be held in honor of Barbara Crosley at Myers Colonial Funeral Home on Saturday, November 1, 2025, at 12:00pm officiated by Rev. John S. Crosley. The public viewing will begin at 10:00 AM, followed by the funeral service at 12:00 PM. After the service, she will be laid to rest in Beauregard Cemetery located in Deridder, Louisiana.
Barbara Dean Crosley will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who had the pleasure of knowing her. May her spirit live on in the fond memories we all share.
