Barbara Bailey

Barbara Bailey, 81, of DeRidder, LA, passed from this life on Monday, April 22, 2013.  Mrs. Bailey retired from Beauregard Memorial Hospital as Director of Housekeeping.  She was a life member of the American Legion Ladies Auxilliary and a life member of the Order of the Eastern Star of Moss Bluff.

Those left to cherish her memory are her husband, Billy R. Bailey, Sr. of DeRidder, LA; sons, Allen E. Bailey and wife Cindy of Sulphur, LA, Billy Ray Bailey, Jr. and wife Debbie of Westlake, LA, and Scott Bailey and wife Denice of DeRidder, LA; daughter, Donna Jean Bailey and son-in-law, Billy Carter of Winnie, TX; sister, Sue Frances Walkner of Lake Charles, LA; 9 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Arthur and Opal Dalton and daughter, Jan Marie Walker.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 23, 2013 from 4:00pm until 9:00pm and on  Wednesday, April 24, 2013 from 9:00am until time of funeral service at 2:00pm at Myers-Colonial Funeral Home in DeRidder, LA.  Burial will follow at Johnson-Bailey Cemetery in Rosepine, LA.  Bro. Jimmy Glass will officiate.
