Annette Knighten, 66, of Rosepine, LA passed from this life on Monday, April 8, 2013. Ms. Knighten was a loving mother, grandmother, mother-in-law and sister.  Her love for our Saviour Jesus defined her life.  She loved Jesus and would use any opportunity to share his love with all.  Annette’s passion was her children and grandchildren whom she deeply loved and cared for.  Jesus and family were her foundation, in this she was unwavering.  Her thoughts were always for others, even when she was yard sale shopping.  The things purchased were always for someone else.  Annette’s greatest dream and prayer was that her children and their families would all find their way home to Jesus.  All her pain gone now, there is no doubt that she will continue this work from heaven.

Those left to cherish her memory are her daughters, Angela Reimer and husband Michael of Westlake, LA, Lisa Decker and husband Doug of Texas and Quinda Powell and husband Kendal of DeRidder, LA; brothers, William Phillips and wife Debbie of Hornbeck, LA and David Phillips and Becky of Leesville, LA; grandchildren, Michael Decker and wife Audrey of Aiken, SC, Dustin Decker of Texas, Kristin Plank of DeRidder, LA, Shelby Powell of DeRidder, LA, Cameron Powell of Tennessee, Andrea Farris and husband Clint, Christopher Reimer and wife Jessie, Natasha Johnson and Josh Monceaux, and Trey and Justin Johnson; great grandchildren, Landon Decker, Alaina, C.J., Caleb and Caden Farris, Devin and Dani Reimer and Trinity Monceaux.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Woodrow and Doris Phillips; brothers, Hoy Phillips and Lanice Phillips.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, April 11, 2013 from 5:00pm until 10:00pm at First Pentecostal Church in Rosepine, LA.  Funeral services will be Friday, April 12, 2013 at 11:00am also at First Pentecostal Church in Rosepine.  Burial will follow at Mitchell Cemetery in Anacoco, LA.  Bro. Bankson will officiate.
