Alvin Walker, 69, of DeRidder, LA, passed from this life on Monday, April 18, 2022.

Those left to cherish his memory are his daughters, Denise “Necy” Savoy and McHenry of Lake Charles, LA, Mia Joyner and Matthew of San Antonio, TX; grandchildren, Alexi Joyner and Matthew Joyner, Jr.; brothers, Ernest Walker and Mary, Melvin Walker and Trish, Melvin Green and Iva, all of Georgetown, SC; sisters, Mary Gregg of Georgetown, SC, Robert Ann Usher of Snellville, GA and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Melvin and Janie Bell Walker; brother, Jimmy Walker; sister, Joanne Walker.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 27, 2022 at 9:00 AM until the time of service at 11:00 AM at Bilbo and Roberts Church of Christ in DeRidder, LA. Jay Alexander will officiate the service. Pallbearers will be McHenry Savoy, Matthew Joyner, Matthew Joyner, Jr., Kevin A. McDowell, Michael Jerome Lofton, Sr., Broderick Young, Sr. Honorary Pallbearers Brandon Walker, Calvin Walker, Ernest Walker, Melvin Walker, Freddie Smith. Burial will follow at Beauregard Cemetery in DeRidder, LA.
