It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of Allison Marie Ferguson Bishop, born on December 22, 1970, in Merryville, Louisiana. Allison, a devoted homemaker and loving caregiver, peacefully left us on September 4, 2025, in Kirbyville, Texas.
Allison was the light of her family's life. She poured her heart into her daughters, Maggie and Heather, and cherished every moment spent with her grandchildren. Her love extended to her niece and nephew, Brody and Harleigh who brought her immense joy. Whether it was cheering from the sidelines at a sporting event, celebrating birthdays, or simply enjoying the sunset in the backyard, she never missed a chance to be with her loved ones.
Her passion for family was matched only by her love for the beach. She had a special spot in her heart for seafood-crawfish, in particular-and loved shopping trips and making memories with her family. Allison's glamorous side shined bright in her signature blonde hair and her obsession with getting her nails done, especially with her favorite OPI color, Cajun Shrimp.
After her health began to decline in 2016, her husband, Buck, stepped into the role of caregiver with remarkable dedication. Their bond was a beautiful example of commitment, truly reflecting the meaning of "in sickness and in health."
Allison is survived by her loving and devoted husband, Nathan "Buck" Bishop, Jr. of Kirbyville, TX; her mother, Margaret Ferguson of Merryville, LA,; her daughters, Heather Lanier and Craig of Merryville, LA, Maggie Belcher and Zac of Newton, TX; her brother, Daniel Ferguson and Erin of Merryville, LA; niece and nephew, Harleigh Ferguson and Brody Ferguson; beloved grandchildren, Bree Lanier, Cooper Belcher, Breckynn Lanier, Deacon Belcher, Deuce Lanier and Memphis Belcher.
Allison was preceded in death by her father, Billy Ray Ferguson; nephew, Billy Oren Ferguson; grandparents, JC and Helen Mason and Tommy and Ocie Ferguson.
