Alice Faye Burge Poisson, 76, of DeQuincy, LA, passed from this life on Friday, September 24, 2021.

Those left to cherish her memory are her sons, Anthony Ray of DeQuincy, LA, Rodney Ray and Rebecca of Merryville, LA, Christopher Doyle and Janice of DeQuincy, LA; brothers, Louis Burge and Linda of Evans, LA, David Burge and Mary of Marietta, OK; sisters, Helen Wilson of DeRidder, LA, Mary Thompson and Jimmy of DeQuincy, LA, Vera Burge and Kenneth Dozier of DeRidder, LA, Darlene Burge of DeRidder, LA, Viola Burge and E.J. of Hammond, LA, Arlene Brister and Larry of DeRidder, LA, Barbara Clark and Danny of DeRidder, LA;  grandchildren, Kayden, Addie, Anthony, Mitchell, William, Tabitha, Jackie, Ronnie, Elizabeth, Lauren and Jace; ten great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Jerry Poisson; great granddaughter, Alyssa Ray.

Graveside Service will be held on Tuesday, September 28, 2021 at 11:00 AM at Newlin Cemetery in Singer, LA.  Pallbearers will be family and friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Vera Burge, Alice’s sister who is battling cancer in c/o Helen Wilson, 165 Gary Wilson Road, DeRidder, LA, 70634.
