Constable Alfred Lee Doyle, 79, of Singer, LA, passed from this life on Sunday, April 28, 2024.
Alfred was the elected constable of Ward 5, District 1 in Beauregard Parish for 30 years.
Being constable was an honor he took very much pride in. He also umpired baseball for over 30 years, worked in the logging industry and oil field. Alfred and Natalie owned and operated a restaurant in Singer for 24 years, where he was known for making the best biscuits in the surrounding area. They were so good; people would call and wake him up to make them. He was always lending a helping hand to anyone who needed anything. Constable Doyle is loved and will be missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him.
Those left to cherish his memory are his sons, David Doyle of Singer, LA; Randy Doyle of Singer, LA; daughter, Nikkole Pruett of DeRidder, LA; brother, Kenneth “Steve” Doyle and Claudia of DeRidder, LA; daughters-in-law, Dena Doyle of Orange, TX, Angela Doyle of Nederland, TX; son-in-law, Kris Pruett of DeRidder, LA; grandchildren, Tyler Doyle, Taylor Doyle, Hope Slaydon, Raylan Pruett, Harlan Pruett, Tyler Morrison, Austin Morrison and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Natalie Marie Doyle; parents, Lonnie and Mary Doyle and his siblings.
Visitation will be held on Friday, May 3, 2024 from 11:00 AM until the time of service at 3:00 PM at Myers Colonial Funeral Home in DeRidder, LA. Brother Donnis Ashworth, Brother Jimmy Clark and Brother Jonathan Comeaux will officiate the service.
