Lucy Franks

Lucy Franks, 98, of Merryville, LA, passed from this life on Wednesday, January 4, 2017.

Those left to cherish her memory: daughter, Carole Dunn and husband Bill of Freeport, FL; sister, Georgia Hasler and husband Johnny of Marshall, TX; grandchildren, James Young and Sabrina Clough; great-grandchildren, Dane Clough and wife Tori; great-great-grandchildren, Austen Clough and Adalyn Clough; devoted nephews, Eugene Watson, Melbourne Watson and Earl Franks.  A host of nieces, nephews, family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Herbert and Mary Warner; sisters, Audra Watson (Jesse), and Mabel Franks (Herman); husband, James Herbert Franks; and grandson, Wesley Melbourne Young.

Visitation will be held on Friday, January 6, 2017 from 4:00-8:00 pm at Boxwood Church of Christ in Merryville, LA.  Funeral services will be held Saturday, January 7, 2017 at 10:00 am also at Church of Christ  in Merryville, LA.
