Elizabeth Lee Hall, 98, passed away at home on June 6, 2014.  She was born December 8, 1915 in Tifton, Georgia to William Thomas and Nora Louise Woods.  She married Dewey Alton Lee in 1935.

Elizabeth and Dewey lived most of their lives in Georgia and Florida with Dewey passing away in 1968.  She continued to work and was very passionate about taking care of her family.  She was a great cook and loved to embroider—sharing many pieces with family and friends.  She remarried in 1981 to Charles Walter Hall, who was a wonderful stepfather to her children.  They moved to DeRidder in 1996.  Mr. Hall had five children—Charlie Hall, Lillian McDuffie, Lorna Perales, Flora Hibbit, and Joe Hall, all of Florida.  Mr. Hall passed away in 2007, and Elizabeth then resided with her daughter, Lanora Strange.

The family will be receiving visitors on Monday, June 9, 2014 from 5:00pm until 8:00pm at Myers-Colonial Funeral Home in DeRidder.  Interment will be in Lakeland, GA under the direction of Music Funeral Home at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the charity of your choice.
