Dennis Ray Duplonty, 70, of Merryville, LA, passed from this life on Wednesday, September 16, 2020.

Those left to cherish his memory are his daughter, Donna Rene Duplonty Prejean and Justin of Mississippi; sisters, Joyce White of DeRidder, LA, Helen Moreland of Merryville, LA, Mary Ruth Thompson of Merryville, LA; grandchildren, Shelby Lynn Hanna, Brittany Brown and Drew; great grandchild, Eliza Jaine Brown; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Clyde and Lille Mae Duplonty; brothers, Wilfred Duplonty, Donald Wayne Duplonty, John Thomas Duplonty.

Visitation will be held on Friday, September 18, 2020 from 12:00 PM until the time of service at 2:00 PM at Myers Colonial Funeral Home in DeRidder, LA. Brother Ed Tilley will officiate the service. Pallbearers will be Christopher Landis, Chris Whiddon, Dustin Alexander, Bubba White, Mary Landis, Claude “Snapper” Snap, Jr. Burial will follow at Merryville Cemetery in Merryville, LA.
