ANNA LUCILLE BREWER

A Memorial Service for Mrs. Brewer will be held at Myers Colonial Funeral Home in DeRidder, LA on September 30, 2009 at 1:00 PM.  The Minister will be Pastor Vic Warrick of Christway Church in DeRidder.

Mrs. Brewer joins her daughters: Shirley Ann Majors, Carol Suzanne Withers, husband Willis Brewer and 9 brothers and sisters in Heaven.  The Trumpets are sounding and her loved ones are gathering to celebrate the arrival of our grandmother.  There are no tears in Heaven for there is no pain and only joy, however; there are tears of sadness and tears of joy here on earth for our grandmother has gone home.

On Monday, September 28, 2009 at 1:40 pm, the moment went fast.  The presence of God was so strong in her room it was peaceful.  The last earthly minutes were painless as tears of joy formed in her eyes.  Those tears were for happiness as she took God’s hand; as she looked up and saw her children and many other loved ones welcoming her home.

Mrs. Brewer is survived by her Son-In-Law, Carlis J. Withers of DeRidder, LA; 6 Grandchildren:  Robin Arnall of Tulsa, OK;  Len Majors of Corinth, TX;  James Withers of Burleson, TX;  Kimberly Johnson of Plano, TX; Kelly Guimbellot of DeRidder, LA; Kerri Donovan of Lorton, VA; 12 Great Grandchildren:  Adam Majors, Cody Arnall, Cory Majors,
