Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 31, 2009 from 5:00pm til 9:00pm at Myers Colonial Funeral Home in DeRidder, Louisiana. FuneralService will be held on  Friday, January 1, 2010  at 10:00 am at Myers Colonial Funeral Home in DeRidder, LA. Interment will be at Cannon Cemetery – Merryville, LA. Officiating the service will be Rev. Durhl Davis &  Rev. Wayne Squyres.Mr. Eaves was a member of the Merryville Masonic Lodge #329 for over 50 years.  He was a 32nd degree mason.  Mr. Eaves was  Scottish Rite and York Rite Shriner and was a member of the Priscilla Chapter of the Order of The Eastern Star.  Mr. Eaves worked for Arco Oil & Gas for 39 years.Charles Lester Eaves is survived by;Son:  Steve Eaves & wife Judy of Merryville, LA. Daughter:  Connie “Sissy” Williamson & husband Rusty of Merryville, LA. Grandchildren:  Lisa Smith & husband Wesley of Merryvile, LA, Joseph Williamson of Lake Charles, LA, Leigh Hall & husband Scott of Little Rock, MS, Erin Chesson & husband Dean of Sulphur, LA, Melissa Wilson & husband Eric of Elmer, LA, Adam Generous of Victoria, TX, Stacy Little & husband John of Leesville, LA. 18 Great Grandchildren Mr. Eaves was preceded in death by his wife of 59 years, Ople Eaves, his parents, Alva and Allie Eaves and a granddaughter, Victoria A. Officiating service will be Elder Gerald Reed.

Susan "Na-Na" Edwards
 

Susan “Na-Na” Edwards, Westlake, Louisiana, 46 years of age came to her sudden peace on Friday, December 11, 2009. Even though her life on earth was short, she will never be forgotten by those

who knew her.

 

She was a beautiful, loving mother who made every day an exciting adventure for her kids and grandkids. Always creative, this awesome cook, could and would take the smallest things and turn them into something unique and delicious.

 

She will be greatly missed by those who loved her, especially her two kids; Ricky Edwards and Vickie Edwards and her four grandkids; Cameron and Caleb Dowden, Skyler and Brenton Edwards.

We love you mom, your love will light our way “Na-Na".

Bert Jessie "B.J." Ross 84 of DeRidder, LA passed from this life on December 11, 2009 in DeRidder, LA. Visitation was held on Sunday, December 13, 2009  from 1:30 - 3:00 PM Crystal Springs Baptist Church in Anacoco, LA. Funeral services were held on Sunday, December 13, 2009  at 3:00 PM at Crystal Springs Baptist Church in Anacoco, LA. Interment was held at Mitchell Cemetery , Anacoco, LA. Officiating the service will be Rev. Shelton Sigler.

B.J. was a member of the 82nd Airborne in the United States Army.  He saw action in Luzon, New Guinea, was there for the liberation of the Phillipines and participated in 2 major battles in South Korea.

B.J. was a member of the Missionary Baptist Church of DeRidder.  He loved his God, his family, gardening, raising and selling vegetables.

B.J.  is survived by;
Wife:  Wanda Sue Campbell Ross of DeRidder. Daughters: Deloris Jessie Ross Hall of Sebastian, Florida, Kathy Lee Ross of Seminole, Florida. Step Sons: Bobby Lawson Sipes of Fayetteville, TN,

Sidney Lee Sipes and wife Patty of Newton, TX,  John Roger Self and wife Amber of Ballinger, TX & Benjamin Delbert Self of Livingston, TX.  Step Daughter:  Sheree’ Self Schriver of Sturgis, SD. 1 Grandson:  Harrison Hall, 15 Step Grandchildren, 18 Step Great Grandchildren.

Charles Randy Chrisman was in the oilfield business for over 25 years. Native of Bridge Port Connecticut and lived in Louisiana for the past 31 years. Also served in the U. S.  Marines Corps.
